- Diigo- this is an online tool that you can download and you will have the ability to highlight information on websites and save it forever, this is nice because information online can be removed at any time. This site also allows the users to insert sticky notes to pages and save pictures.
- Bubbl us- this site can be used for brainstorming and can be saved and accessed again through a PDF file to look back on whenever you want
- Bright Storm- this is a site where students can go and get educational instruction for math and science when they need help, or simply just want to learn about a specific topic
- Ipl.org-is the result of a merger of the Internet Public Library and is filtered by librarians, so it is a great search engine for research
- Quia- is a site where you can choose different subjects and you are able to find activities and games that help you study for that particular subject (Spanish, math, etc.)
- Scholastic Scrapbook- is a great site for testing the comprehension of reading for elementary students, this site allows the students to create the characters they have just read about
- Jing - free download that you can use to take screen shots and save them onto your computer as an image file
- Wordle -creates a word cloud from words that you type into it. You can chance the color and layout of the words as well
- Neat Chat - this site allows you to have a private or public chat in an online chat room
- Emodo - social networking site that is educational and can be used by teachers and students
- Prezi - this is a fun new way to present information, and kind of like a PowerPoint
